Watchlist for 09/03/15

Didn't  write a watchlist review for Friday because I didn't get to watch the market much and I didn't really write any plans so there wasn't anything to review. Definitely getting better at writing watchlists though. Really Refining my Filters for scanning to find the best stocks to watch. I'm now taking 10-15 stocks off finviz, cutting them down to 10 or less and then bringing my watchlist up to 10 with any nice charts that are still in play off my prior watchlists which I don't already have. Please give me feedback if you're reading my watchlists so that I can provide clearer or better information. Thank you.

These stocks aren't in any particular order. The first 7 are by volume, the other 2 were added after.

Horizon Pharma plc (HZNP)
Long:Weak Open down to $21.50's, higher low. Nail and Bail
Story: Plans to $350M from Offering to fund future acquisitions or investments in businesses or products. Released pre-clinical data showing improved signs disease severity of Rare Bone Disease.
Thoughts: There isn't a short here in my opinion. I'm thinking a Weak Open.

Aoxing Pharmaceutical Company, Inc. (AXN)
Short: Gap Up Parabolic, Risk off $2, ideally start in at $1.80ish. Nail and Bail
Story: No Recent News on Yahoo Finance but I'm seeing a lot of Buyout stuff being said on the Message Boards. Others on it are saying it's going up due to it reporting that the company is profitable for the first time in it's last fillings on February 17th.
Thoughts: Not one good feeling about going Long on this chart. Looks like a pump but I can't find anything. Don't like the idea of trading a buyout rumor though one way or another. It's a short in my mind anyway.

DURECT Corporation (DRRX)
Long: Weak Open, Higher Low, R/G. Nail And Bail
Short: Parabloic through $1.75, Risk off $2.
Story: Reported a loss on Monday March 2nd but still met expectations
Thoughts: Quite a bullish chart. But needs some consolidation.

 

CorMedix, Inc. (CRMD)
Short: Gap Up, Parabolic through $8.50, Risk off $9.00. Nail and Bail
Story: Has Earnings on Friday March 13th. Issued 200,000 Warrants to Elliot at an exercise price of $7 on March 4th, close on the 3rd March $5.50.
Thoughts: Not sure if I'm comfortable buying a stock with Earnings so close because emotions will be strong (but maybe that's not a bad thing). Not a long for me if I was to trade it because it's up 135% in the past 12 trading days from the $3.50 breakout.

Anthera Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (ANTH)
Long: ABCD. Nail and Bail
Short: Large Gap Up, Paraboluc through $6.50, Risk off $7. Nail and Bail
Story: No News
Thoughts: Up 135% in the past month. Consolidated around $5 with a continuation breakout at $5.25. And 52 Week Breakout over $4. Might still need another day or 2 to give a nicer overextended chart.

Kythera Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. (KYTH)
Short: Parabolic through $55, Risk off $60. Nail and Bail
Story: Reported an Earnings Loss on Monday March 2nd. Entered Overbought Territory on Friday March 6th 
Thoughts: Not Very interested in going Long an Earnings Loser and it's up 33% in the past 3 days.

ArQule Inc. (ARQL)
Short: Parabloic, Risk off $2.50, Start in around $2.40. Nail and Bail
Story: Reported a loss on Wednesday March 4th.
Thoughts: Not very excited about going long a chart that's up 95% in the last month or + an Earnings Loser.

Catalyst Pharmaceutical Partners Inc. (CPRX)
Long: Weak Open down to $4-$4.10.. Might even be a wash that won't give a higher low. Risk off the $3.90's.. Nail and Bail
Story: Good FDA news. 
Thoughts: No Short here yet in my opinion.

Geron Corporation (GERN)
Long: ABCD. Nail and Bail
Story: Reported an Earnings loss on March 4th.
Thoughts: People obviously thought the numbers were better than expected though. Not sure what to think this will do now.. It should give an opportunity or two to day trade and I'm feeling more for the long side but as I say, I'm not very interested in going long on Earnings Losers though...

Zogenix, Inc. (ZGNX)
Long: Weak Open, Higher Low, R/G, Anticipation of $2 break.
Story: Earnings on Tuesday 10th.
Thoughts: Not sure if I like the idea of it being so close to Earnings, but it could give a nice technical breakout today if it stays bullish.. Wouldn't be trading in the afternoon.
